8Simos Yannas studied architecture at the National Technical University of Athens and environmental design at the Architectural Association School in London. He received his doctorate for research on low energy housing design and over the past forty years has taught and carried out research on sustainable environmental design with awards from national and international agencies. His book Roof Cooling Techniques was shortlisted for the RIBA International Book Award for Architecture. He was awarded the PLEA International Achievement Award.
